Terms of service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the TurnStoneX marketing platform ("TurnStoneX", the "service"). By signing in or using the service you agree to them. A separate written agreement between TurnStoneX and a client, if any, takes precedence over these terms for that client.
1. The service
TurnStoneX helps small businesses and nonprofits measure and grow qualified website traffic: it audits websites, imports analytics and search data that a client authorises, tracks rankings, and produces recommendations, drafts and a plan of work. Some features use AI; their output is a draft that a person should review. Results such as traffic, rankings or appearances in AI assistants depend on third parties and are not guaranteed by these terms.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Access to a client's data is granted by TurnStoneX or the client. Tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
- When you connect an account (for example Google Analytics or Search Console), you confirm that you are authorised to do so for that business. You can disconnect it at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or that infringes others' rights;
- try to access data or accounts you have not been given, or probe, disrupt or overload the service;
- use the service to buy fake traffic, post fake reviews or send spam;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service except as the law allows.
4. Your data
Clients keep ownership of their data. You give TurnStoneX permission to process it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, TurnStoneX disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TurnStoneX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. TurnStoneX's total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount the client paid TurnStoneX for the service in the three months before the claim.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, for security reasons or when a client's engagement ends. On termination we handle data as the privacy policy describes.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, and disputes go to the courts located in Virginia.
